We contacted Jo at Pippin Pet Services after we rehomed a one year old Dachshund. We didn’t know too much of the behavioural history or what training have been completed in the past.

With Jo’s help, we were able to address a few little issues and begin building on his training session by session.

Each lesson was informative and tailored to our specific needs. We now have a very happy, well behaved little dog who’s a great addition to our family. I would definitely highly recommend Pippin Pet Services.

Scentwork – the powerful activity for dogs that evokes calm

Scentwork is an incredibly fun and mentally stimulating activity to enjoy with your dog. Our dogs are olfactory beings who have an innate desire to sniff and put their clever noses to work.

Scentwork training teaches your dog an abundance of skills, it builds

  • Confidence
  • Focus
  • Self control
  • A stronger relationship between you and your dog

Your dog will learn how to identify, track and locate various scents, harnessing the power of their olfactory system. It’s a lot of fun, and a brilliant way to satisfy your dog’s need for mental stimulation.

Scentwork workshops take place throughout the year. Please take a look at the calendar below for upcoming scentwork classes.

I can not recommend Jo enough. She is an excellent and knowledgeable dog trainer and you will have fun learning in her small, professionally run classes.

Dog Training Workshops

Throughout the year I hold loose lead walking workshops, recall workshops and fun events for you to enjoy with your dog while tackling niggling issues!

Check out upcoming events below or join my mailing list to be the first to know when new workshops open for bookings.

We highly recommend the training given by Jo. Today we did the workshop for loose lead walking which gave us the knowledge of how to train our one year old with rewards and clicker training to stop pulling on the lead.

The communication of the workshop was clear and Jo made everyone feel at ease when we arrived.  There was plenty of time given to all the different exercises and we can continue the training at home.

The training was well explained and interactive as far as possible. A really nice touch was for the dogs to receive a certificate and rosette to say they had completed the training, we thought this showed real care.
